Lori Huber, Executive Director

Lori has been involved in Economic and Community Development since 1998 as Chamber of Commerce Director, Travel and Tourism Coordinator, Associate Main Street Member, and Economic Development Assistant and Director.  She helped establish the Crossroads RC&D, the Washington County Community Foundation, and the Kansas Association of Community Foundations.  She also helped develop a Hometown Competitiveness program which focuses on growing rural areas by focusing on four pillars: philanthropy, leadership, entrepreneurship, and youth.  Prior to this Lori worked in retail, construction, ag, manufacturing, and government. Lori received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kansas State University.

Nancy Wolff, Administrative Assistant

Nancy has worked with a wide variety of nonprofits since 2001.  Her recent history includes developing and fundraising for U.S. health care facilities and U.S. and foreign hospice programs in Kansas, Nebraska, Washington State, and Mexico. She is also an artist and contributor to unique fundraising organizations such as the Denver Mask Project (Denver Hospice) and the Belvedere Theater Foundation. She comes from a strong family of entrepreneurs, who taught her the joys of starting and building businesses. She has owned and operated several businesses over the years. Her businesses have been in a variety fields ranging from RV mobile detailing, hand tied fishing flies in upstate Washington, event planning for triathlons, biathlons, and marathons, art instruction, casino dealing schools, and art galleries in Mexico. Her hobbies include painting, pottery, photography, gardening and loving care for her ever-changing menagerie of cats and dogs. Home for Nancy and her husband ranges between Kansas and Mazatlán, Mexico.
