Lori Huber, Executive Director

Lori has been involved in Economic and Community Development since 1998 as Chamber of Commerce Director, Travel and Tourism Coordinator, Associate Main Street Member, and Economic Development Assistant and Director.  She helped establish the Crossroads RC&D, the Washington County Community Foundation, and the Kansas Association of Community Foundations.  She also helped develop a Hometown Competitiveness program which focuses on growing rural areas by focusing on four pillars: philanthropy, leadership, entrepreneurship, and youth.  Prior to this Lori worked in retail, construction, ag, manufacturing, and government. Lori received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kansas State University.

Amy is a native of Belleville, KS, and was born and raised on a farm.  After earning her Associate of Arts from Barton County Community College and Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Bethany College, she has spent the majority of her career in the retail sector.  Most notably, she was Bookstore Manager at Cloud County Community College in Concordia, KS for 6.5 years.  Amy has lived in Clay Center since 2013 and is married to Zach Baer.  They have one daughter, Leona.  In her spare time, she spends time with her family, including step daughter Avery, and making jewelry and baby accessories for her business, Divine Creations.
